The lake will serve as the backdrop for the highly anticipated music festival

It IS less than a month until Alderfest comes to Whitchurch.

The music festival will take place near Lake Alderford in Tilstock Road on Saturday July 16.

Well-known faces, such as professional dancers, AJ and Curtis Pritchard and Sonny Jay from Capital FM will be at the event.

A spokesperson for the event said there will be things for adults and children to do.

They added: “As well as an amazing line-up for all the adults, there’s also one for all the kids.

“A fun and enchanting princess show where you can sing and dance, be immersed in magic with Jake the storyteller, and learn how to be a dinosaur ranger at our ranger boot camps.

“We’ll have Zeus, Europe’s largest walking T-Rex, making an appearance on the main stage with his raptor friend prowling around the festival.

“Revel in the day and add an action-packed moment by going for a swim in the lake, try something new with our stand-up paddle board and have a full adventure in the even bigger water park.

“But if you don’t feel like getting wet in the lake, try the silent disco instead and party with your friends and family.”
