Happy Birthday Prabhas: From Salaar to Project K, with 1500 cr on Rebel Star, here is his two year plan

Prabhas celebrates his 42nd birthday. The actor, who became a Pan India sensation after the success of Bahubali Franchise, has the biggest sum of money on his shoulder in the next 5 years. And that makes it the most crucial phase of his career, because the films that hit the mark would land him among the greatest of all time. Producers are willing to spend unheard of amounts of Prabhas films given its potential to attract audiences from both North and South.

Bahubali has shown that, Saaho, although low in content, has restored the same. The Rebel star will next be seen in Radhe Shyam, an epic love story alongside Pooja Hegde. The film is gearing up for a January 14 release and is set against a backdrop of astrology and mythology. According to the source, the climax of this epic romance is one of the major highlights, in a way that has never been seen before.

Radhe Shyam will be followed by Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, an exciting gangster drama, which features Prabhas in a raw and rustic avatar. The dramatic notes next to the premise are seen as Salaar’s strong suit, and sources insist the directors tried to paint a new portrayal of the gangster genre with this film. Much of the film has come full circle, despite a few brief portions of the work, which will be done over a period of time before the end of this year.

It is the epic Adipurush which succeeds Salaar. The magnum opus directed by Om Raut takes place against a backdrop of Ramayana, with Prabhas playing the role of Lord Ram. While most of the cast are done filming for their respective roles, the creators are canning Lord Ram and his brother, Laxman’s part for now. Even that movie is slated to wrap up early next year and prepare for an August 15 opening in theaters. Those who have seen the show on sets inform that Om Raut and co are creating something special using technology like never before.

Starting early next year, Prabhas will become a superhero for director Nag Ashwin’s Project K. It takes place in a futuristic WWIII timeline and all other details have been kept under wraps. Considering the scale and the budget, the creators take things slow and develop each scene with the utmost caution. Contrary to the general practice of long programs, Project K will be filmed over the next whole year with several short programs at different studios in India. It is preparing for a release in 2023.

Finally, there’s Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, which takes off around the last quarter of 2022. While details have been kept under wraps, this would be another film that features Prabhas in an avatar that fans wanted to see him in. for a while. now. Buzz is, he plays a cop in this project, however, there is no confirmation on the same. Aside from the aforementioned movies, Prabhas is discussing a Pan World movie with producer Dil Raju. If Salaar matches the expectations of the pre-release, this one will also be led by Prashanth Neel. It is in mythological space.

The Rebel star has also been in conversation with Sidharth Anand, however, the two’s agendas are not in sync resulting in frequent delays. While they are both keen to collaborate on a feature film, it doesn’t appear to be in the works for at least the next 2 years. Prabhas’ five confirmed projects are planned on a large scale and the minimum amount that depends on the actor is Rs 1,500 crore which is the most for any star at this stage in India.

The fact that the producers are willing to splurge so much on Prabhas shows their faith in his fame, which should rise higher with each passing film. Here, I wish him a happy birthday.
